A dream is a letter you write to yourself at night
Tell your dream out loud, or type it. Seconds later you get an interpretation — with symbols taken from your own dream, and two things to try before bed. It stays in your journal, yours alone.
Five full interpretations free every month. No card needed.
What the world dreams about
Symbols and kinds of dreams from the shared showcase. The bigger the word, the more often it appears. Drag to spin, tap a word to see those dreams.
Four steps
From "I woke up" to "I get it" — one minute
Each step works on what the previous one left behind.
- 1
Tell it
Press record, say what you remember, press stop. Two sentences are enough — a short dream gets a short reading.
- 2
Read the interpretation
A mystic-astrological tone, symbols taken strictly from your dream, the emotions behind it, two things to try tonight.
- 3
Keep it in the journal
The dream goes to your journal with its date and tags. A streak counts consecutive nights, so you see when dreams come back.
- 4
Check the horoscope
Every reading ties the dream to today. Your daily forecast sits one tap away.
Try it
Pick a dream — watch the reading unfold
The first one is a real answer from the app. The other two are written in the same format, so you can see how different dreams read.
Showcase
Dreams people chose to share
Every dream here was shared by its author, anonymously — no names, no profiles. Vote for the ones that stay with you: the most voted becomes the Dream of the month.
Inside
Four screens you’ll actually use
Dictate half-awake
Press record, speak, press stop — the text appears in seconds. No hunting for glasses at six in the morning.
Dreams with a streak
Your dreams with dates, tags and search. The streak counts consecutive nights and keeps you from quitting on day three.
Forecast for your sign
Built from the real sky: the Moon’s sign and phase and the day’s aspects are calculated from ephemerides, not picked at random — and so is a hint about tonight’s dream.
Other people’s dreams, by consent
Read others’ dreams and vote. Your new dreams are shared anonymously by default — one switch in your profile turns it off.

Privacy
Dreams are among the most private things a person has
Anonymous · off in your profile
New dreams are shared without your name or profile. The “Share my dreams” switch turns it off; the switch under a reading removes a single dream.
Anonymous by design
The showcase shows no names, photos or profiles. Votes are counted without accounts.
Visible only to you
Your journal is protected at the database level: no other user and no stray query can read it.
Delete means gone
A deleted dream disappears from the phone, the server and the showcase.
Not a medical service
Animastra is an app for self-observation and journaling. It is not a medical or psychotherapeutic service: interpretations do not diagnose, do not replace a professional and do not predict events. If your dreams genuinely trouble you, talk to a doctor.
